In the heart of Bengaluru, another grave accusation has surfaced against Prajwal Revanna, Member of Parliament for JD(S) and their representative for the Hassan Lok Sabha constituency. This marks the third instance of a rape allegation against him, as confirmed by a police official on Wednesday.
Prompted by the emergence of a series of disturbing videos on May 8th in Bengaluru, purportedly depicting the accused engaging in sexual misconduct with multiple women, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was swiftly assembled to probe the matter.
The charges laid against Prajwal Revanna include grave offenses under sections IPC 376(2)(N), 376(2)(K), 354(A), 354(B), 354(C), and 506, encompassing repeated acts of rape, voyeurism, unauthorized filming, solicitation, physical assault, molestation, and intimidation.
The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed by SIT sources, disclosed being subjected to alleged rape by Prajwal Revanna while in employment at his farmhouse.
The initial complaint concerns the molestation of a domestic staff member in Holenarasipura, Hassan, implicating Prajwal’s father, H D Revanna, the MLA for Holenarasipura. The subsequent case involves the purported rape of a JD(S) party worker at gunpoint.
With the Hassan MP currently evading authorities and suspected to be in hiding overseas, an Interpol Blue Corner notice has been issued to gather intelligence on his whereabouts.
