Meanwhile, Telangana CM accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of exploiting the Pulwama incident for political gain. He criticized the BJP-led government for its handling of national security. Reddy questioned Modi’s actions following the attack and the efficacy of India’s intelligence agencies. The Pulwama attack occurred on February 14, 2019, followed by Indian Air Force airstrikes on a Jaish-e-Mohammed terror hideout in Balakot. Pakistan’s attempts to retaliate against Indian military installations were thwarted by the alertness of the Indian Air Force.
