The individual who passed away was recognized as Omkar Kumar Choudhary. The occurrence unfolded at the specific location of booth number 210 within the confines of Shankarpur village in Munger.
The ongoing electoral process for the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections encompasses five constituencies within Bihar. HR Srinivas, serving as the Chief Electoral Officer, has asserted that the voting process remained uninterrupted subsequent to the aforementioned incident, as a substitute electoral officer was promptly instated at the designated booth.
Expressing his condolences, Srinivas declared that in accordance with governmental regulations, a sum of Rs 15 lakh would be extended to the bereaved family of Choudhary.

Anita, wedded to the formidable figure Ashok Mahato, finds herself embroiled in a heated contest, further fueled by the re-entry of former MLA Anant Singh, temporarily released on parole for electoral purposes. Munger Lok Sabha seat encompasses a total of seven Assembly constituencies, inclusive of Tarapur, Munger, Jamalpur, Suryagarha, Lakhisarai, Mokama, and Barh. The aggregate number of eligible voters tallies at 2042279, comprising 1082895 male voters, 959332 female voters, and 52 individuals identifying as transgender.
