This proactive measure follows the discovery of affixed posters on edifices, fervently urging denizens to embark on a social media campaign denouncing the judicial decree in the Gyanvapi case.
Sources within the police affirm the implementation of comprehensive security protocols to forestall any undesirable occurrences. An earnest pursuit is underway to apprehend the malefactors, coupled with the arrangement of convocations by peace committees within the locale, as articulated by law enforcement.
As per police reports, the village populace awoke to the sight of posters adorning their domiciles on the current dawn. Crafted in the English language, these manifestos advocate for the orchestration of a digital campaign on the social media platform ‘X,’ accompanied by the hashtag ‘#savegyanvapi.’ The chronology and date for the initiation of this initiative are also explicitly communicated through the posted notices.
Upon receiving intelligence, police contingents promptly descended upon the village. Sanjeev Kumar Shukla, the in-charge of the Sungarhi police station, along with his team, meticulously dislodged the affixed proclamations.
Given the delicacy of the situation, Additional Superintendent of Police Vikram Dahiya and Circle Officer Deepak Chaturvedi made their way to the village. They beseeched the villagers to uphold tranquility and issued stern admonitions against those endeavoring to taint the ambience through the dissemination of posters or any analogous means.
Superintendent of Police Atul Sharma acknowledged awareness of the incident. “The posters have been expunged. Legal proceedings have been instigated against the unidentified miscreants, and endeavors to locate them are underway,” he affirmed.
