In the ancient city of Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to reveal an array of initiatives spanning healthcare, education, transportation, waterways, sports, and cultural heritage, strategically designed to augment employment prospects and foster comprehensive development within the region. His schedule encompasses three pivotal events, comprising two public assemblies – one amidst the Ravidas Jayanti festivities in Seer Goverdhanpur, the birthplace of Sant Ravidas, and the other in Karkhiyaon, where he will inaugurate a staggering 36 projects valued at Rs 14,316 crore.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister is slated to honor the victors of the Sansad quiz contest, Sanskrit competition, and Sansad photography competition at Swatantrata Bhawan, Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The commencement of Prime Minister Modi’s day will transpire with a program at BHU’s Swatantra Bhawan, where he will engage with and commend the champions of various competitions, encompassing Sansad Khel (Sports), Sansad Photography, Sansad Knowledge, and Sansad Sanskrit.
Subsequently, he will advance to Seer Goverdhanpur for the Ravidas Jayanti celebrations, intending to reveal a magnificent 25-foot bronze effigy of Sant Ravidas, inaugurate accomplished projects, and lay the foundation for a museum dedicated to the 15th-century poet-saint. His ultimate destination will be Karkhiyaon, where he will inaugurate the Amul dairy plant and deliver an address during a public gathering.
While the inaugurated projects at Sant Ravidas’ birthplace will be disclosed individually, all other completed initiatives and the foundational stones for new endeavors will be officially inaugurated in Karkhiyaon.
