Amidst the political landscape of New Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) asserted on the day of reckoning that the BJP-led Center, gripped by trepidation, orchestrates a machination utilizing the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The purported motive behind this stratagem is to apprehend the eminent figurehead, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, as an aftermath of the political liaison between the AAP and the Congress, set to unfold in the impending Lok Sabha polls.
In response to these allegations, neither the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) nor the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) deigned to offer immediate commentary. Expounding on the matter during a press conference, Saurabh Bharadwaj, a luminary in the Delhi cabinet, expounded that with the emergence of tidings regarding the conclusive delineation of seat-sharing negotiations between the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Enforcement Directorate (ED) expeditiously issued a seventh summons to Kejriwal. This summons pertains to a case entwined with money laundering linked to the excise policy.
Drawing insights from sources deemed trustworthy, Bharadwaj contended that the CBI is orchestrating a design to detain Kejriwal. The culmination of this scheme is anticipated in the imminent hours, with the CBI poised to serve Kejriwal a notice either during the afternoon or by the evening.
Bharadwaj prognosticated the imminent arrest of Kejriwal within the forthcoming two to three days. Undeterred by the impending ordeal, he declared, “Messages have reached our echelons intimating that if the AAP-Congress consortium comes to fruition, the shackles of arrest will enwrap Arvind Kejriwal. The BJP, ensnared in trepidation, dreads the realization of the AAP-Congress coalition. Arrest Kejriwal if you must, but the alliance shall proceed unabated.”
Echoing Bharadwaj’s sentiment, AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP, Sandeep Pathak, underscored that the public would surge onto the streets in protest if Kejriwal faced incarceration. He envisaged a figurative “tsunami” of people, cautioning that the BJP’s political calculus might veer off course. Defiant in the face of potential arrest, Pathak affirmed, “We harbor no fear of incarceration. Our pact is forged for the greater good of the nation.”
