In the precinct of Shahjahanpur, the Uttar Pradesh Police divulged a somber incident where four scholars en route to partake in the Uttar Pradesh board examinations met an untimely demise, with an additional six sustaining injuries. The tragic episode unfolded as the conveyance they occupied collided with an arboreal entity and careened into a trench along the roadside, transpiring on a fateful Tuesday.
This group of students, destined for a scholastic venue in Jaitipur, was navigating in a vehicular apparatus toward their examination destination when calamity struck, as explicated by the Additional SP (City), Sanjay Kumar. “The vehicle collided with a tree, subsequently plummeting into a trench near Jarawav village,” articulated PTI.
The individuals who succumbed to this unfortunate incident were identified as Anurap Khushwaha (15), Anurag Srivastava (14), and Pratishtha Mishra (15). Regrettably, this trio met their demise at the scene. Mohini Maurya (16), another student, succumbed to injuries later, proving unresponsive to medical intervention.
The six others, now grappling with injuries, find themselves under the care of medical practitioners at a prestigious medical institution, with reports affirming the stability of their current health condition.
