In the bustling metropolis of New Delhi, law enforcement authorities have apprehended five adept marksmen associated with the Kala Jathedi-Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate. Their alleged plot to eliminate a rival gang member was thwarted, and the police disclosed the confiscation of sophisticated imported firearms during the operation.
Manoj C, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell), revealed that a tip-off received on March 7 hinted at the Kala Jathedi-Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate members converging near a DDA Park in Dwarka sector 16, armed with illicit weaponry. The police strategically laid a trap, leading to the apprehension of individuals identified as Rahul, Parveen, Rohtash, Mohan, and Sachin, all hailing from Haryana.
During intensive questioning, Rahul disclosed his association with the gangsters Kala Jathedi and Anil Chippi. Their financial dispute with Ajay, a resident of Basantpur Village in Rohtak, was identified as the motive behind the foiled plan. DCP Manoj C elaborated that Ajay received support from Aman, a resident of Bhainswal Village, Sonepat, who is not only involved in criminal activities but is also linked with the elusive gangster Himanshu. Rahul, having faced adversity after an earlier arrest for firing shots outside Ajay’s residence, was subsequently attacked in jail by Aman’s alleged associates.
Post-release, Rahul orchestrated a plan to eliminate Aman, enlisting Rohtash, Mohan, and Sachin into his fold, with Parveen closely associated. The quartet was equipped with highly sophisticated handguns, courtesy of incarcerated gangsters Kala Jathedi and Anil Chippi, as per DCP’s statement.
The ongoing investigation is delving into the roles of Kala Jathedi, Anil Chippi, and Naresh within this intricate web of criminal activities. DCP Manoj C emphasized that the arrested individuals are under interrogation not only for their involvement in this specific case but also for potential ties to other criminal incidents. Authorities are diligently working to apprehend their associates and trace the sources of the firearms involved.
