Venu, a popular actor in Telugu cinema in the 1990s and 2000s, is making his OTT debut with this series. He recently made a comeback to films with the 2022 movie Ramarao On Duty.

Athidhi is the latest Telugu Original series on Disney+ Hotstar, following Dead Pixels, Save The Tigers, Dayaa, and Shaitan. In the series, Venu plays a horror novelist named Ravi. The trailer shows the cast getting scared and scaring others.
