Kangana Ranaut, the presenter of Poonam Pandey’s unscripted television series ‘Lock Upp’, has responded to the news of Pandey’s passing. The verified Instagram account of Poonam Pandey, on Friday, made the announcement regarding her demise. The declaration specifies that the artist succumbed to cervical carcinoma.
Kangana Kangana took to her Instagram narratives and inscribed: “This is profoundly sorrowful. The loss of a youthful lady to cancer is a calamity. Om Shanti.”
Performer Karanvir Bohra, who was a contender on Lock Upp with Poonam, conveyed to India Forums that he encountered her a decade prior. “I am still struggling to accept this. I just encountered her ten days ago,” he was mentioned as articulating by India Forums.
He similarly took to Twitter and stated, “I’m still grappling with disbelief #PoonamPandey I hope this revelation isn’t valid 🙏🏼”
Karan Kundrra, who collaborated with Poonam on Lock Upp told Zoom Entertainment, “Oh my god! I am entirely uninformed about this. How did this occur? It is exceedingly grievous and distressing news. I simply need to communicate with some individuals immediately.”

The statement on Poonam’s Instagram account stated, “This dawn is a strenuous one for us. Deeply grieved to notify you that we have bid farewell to our cherished Poonam owing to cervical carcinoma. Every sentient entity that ever encountered her was greeted with pure affection and benevolence. During this time of lamentation, we request for seclusion while we recollect her warmly for all that we shared.
Her public relations team further stated, “We were apprised by her kinsfolk/ team this morning that she is no more, we are also striving to get in touch with her kinsfolk but unluckily we haven’t succeeded in contacting them which is the reason why we are not issuing an official proclamation. As of now all we know is she is no more and her mortal remains are currently in UP.”
