Hyderabad: In a viral video, Shah Rukh Khan commended Ayaan, the progeny of Allu Arjun, for his rendition of the song “Dunki’s Lutt Putt Gaya.” Shah Rukh extolled Ayaan’s talent, jestingly remarking that he would nudge his offspring to practice crooning Allu Arjun’s chartbuster, “Srivalli,” from the cinematic masterpiece, “Pushpa.”
“Dunki,” a cinematic venture featuring Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, graced the screens in December. The musical composition for the film, orchestrated by Pritam, included the mellifluous track, “Lutt Putt Gaya,” crooned by Arijit Singh.
The endearing video showcased Ayaan rendering the song with captivating charm, capturing the essence of the hook line. Shah Rukh Khan, in gratitude, shared the video on the platform X (formerly Twitter), lauding Ayaan’s prowess and dubbing him a fusion of both “floral delicacy and fervent intensity.” Playfully, he outlined his intention to have his progeny hone their vocal skills with Allu Arjun’s “Srivalli.” “Thank u lil one… you are a flower and fire both rolled into one!!! Now getting my kids to practice singing @alluarjun’s Srivalli… ha ha,” quipped the superstar on X.
Allu Arjun reciprocated Shah Rukh’s tweet with graciousness, conveying his thanks for the heartwarming message. “Shah Rukh ji … soo sweet of you. Humbled by your sweet msg. Lots of love .”
“Dunki” recently made its debut on Netflix India. Despite being Shah Rukh Khan’s third cinematic release in 2023 after “Pathaan” and “Jawan,” “Dunki” achieved commendable success. Featuring Taapsee Pannu and showcasing Vicky Kaushal in a distinctive role, the film garnered favorable responses at the box office. Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming endeavor is “Pathaan 2,” slated to commence filming in December. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun anticipates the release of “Pushpa 2” in August.
