Amid fervent anticipation, the unveiling of the trailer for Aranmanai 4, under the direction of Sundar C, who also assumes a pivotal on-screen role, alongside esteemed actors including Tamannaah Bhatia, Raashii Khanna, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Delhi Ganesh, and Kovai Sarala, took place on Saturday, March 30. This latest chapter introduces a fresh spectral presence named Baak.
The commencement of the trailer depicts a jovial family of four, whose moments of joy are abruptly truncated by a sorrowful demise. Accusations emerge regarding the husband’s venture into the woods subsequent to a disagreement with his wife, portrayed by Tamannaah, resulting in his untimely passing, while she, in turn, resorts to self-inflicted demise. Nonetheless, Sundar’s persona vehemently refutes the notion that his sister succumbed to suicide.
In his capacity as a legal practitioner, he adopts a resolute stance against law enforcement, yet subtle insinuations within the trailer hint at potential obstacles transcending the confines of legal jurisdiction. Various characters in the narrative, including Raashii, residing within an eerie mansion, engage in discourse concerning the unearthly presence of Baak. Some even deliberate strategies to harness the ghost’s abilities, with the advent of a malevolent sorcerer further complicating the situation.
The film boasts a riveting storyline crafted and directed by Sundar, complemented by musical compositions from HipHop Tamizha. The cinematography, deftly orchestrated by E Krishnamurthy, captures the essence of the narrative, while seamless editing by Fenny Oliver, exemplary art direction by Gururaj, and choreography by Brindha Master enhance the cinematic experience. Produced by Sundar’s spouse, Khushbu, a distinguished figure in both the entertainment industry and politics, the movie is slated for theatrical release on April 11.
