Amidst the bustling city of Mumbai in Maharashtra, the creators, buoyed by the triumph of The Kerala Story, now present Bastar: The Naxal Story, a compelling cinematic venture featuring the talented Adah Sharma. Producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah sheds light on the creation of this film, emphasizing, “It was imperative to unveil this concern to the populace.” Today, Vipul Shah unveiled the official trailer at the epicenter, surrounded by the entire film crew in Raipur.

Within the trailer, Adah assumes the role of IPS Officer Neerja Madhvan, resolute in her quest to rid India of Naxalism. The visuals include Naxalites assaulting CRPF Jawans, juxtaposed with scenes portraying JNU students reveling in their demise. From somber sequences of individuals singing the National Anthem while perpetrating heinous acts of violence to poignant depictions of children ablaze and the political elite meeting their untimely end, this trailer resonates deeply.

Chilling frames capture Naxalites eliminating CRPF Jawans, accompanied by scenes portraying JNU students jubilant at the loss of Jawans. From instances of individuals singing the National Anthem amid brutal acts to heart-wrenching depictions of children in flames and political figures meeting their demise, as well as the hanging of innocents, this trailer leaves an indelible mark.

In a conversation with ANI, Vipul Amrutlal Shah remarked, “We seek no controversy. Our films are crafted with absolute veracity and sincerity. When Dada (director Sudipto Sen) presented the comprehensive research on Bastar, I delved into the data on the prevalent violence. Concurrently, there was jubilation in JNU. The research showcased myriad other facets. Witnessing all this alongside intellectuals in urban areas providing cover fire and justification, one realizes that 90% of the populace remains oblivious to occurrences in a remote part of the nation. I felt it was imperative to bring this issue to the forefront.”

Directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, this film unravels the truth behind numerous martyrs and exposes how pseudo-intellectuals in our nation orchestrate propaganda, fueled by Chinese funding, to sow division. It is a moment for profound contemplation. Shah and Sudipto’s inaugural collaboration, ‘The Kerala Story,’ emerged as one of the most triumphant films at the box office in 2023. Unveiling the alleged brainwashing of numerous young women into joining the Islamic State (IS) and venturing to regions like Syria and Afghanistan. The film is poised to grace theaters on March 15.
