Renowned figure of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, embodying the persona of ‘immortal Ashwatthama’ from the forthcoming cinematic masterpiece Kalki 2898 AD, took the forefront to unveil the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. On the day of Wednesday, Star Sports released a footage showcasing Big B in character, delivering a stirring oration to the Indian cricket contingent in anticipation of the tournament.

Making their presence felt on Instagram, Star Sports disseminated the footage accompanied by a remark that expressed, “A span of 40 Seconds engenders a sense of EUPHORIA. Drawing inspiration from Hindu lore within a post-cataclysmic milieu, Kalki 2898 AD stars luminaries Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles. After enduring numerous setbacks, the grandiose sci-fi dystopian opus is scheduled to grace the silver screen on June 27. Directed by Nag Ashwin and financed by C Aswani Dutt under the imprimatur of Vyjayanthi Movies, the musical score for the cinematic venture is orchestrated by Santhosh Narayanan.
