In the initial release days, the comedic heist film “Crew,” featuring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon in lead roles, commenced its journey with a splendid reception at the box office, garnering enthusiastic praise from audiences and critics alike. However, as the calendar turns to its fifth day, the movie’s revenue experiences a significant decline, according to the latest update from industry tracker Sacnilk.

The report indicates that despite its presence in cinemas for five days, “Crew” has not surpassed the Rs 40 crore mark in domestic box office earnings. Projections suggest a meager Rs 3.36 crore collection on its fifth day, marking a notable downturn for the film. While the movie debuted strongly, raking in Rs 9.25 crore on its opening day, subsequent days witnessed fluctuating figures, with collections of Rs 9.75 crore and Rs 10.5 crore on the second and third days, respectively.

However, the fourth day saw a dip in earnings, with a reduced collection of Rs 4.2 crore compared to the previous day. Taking into account the latest figures, the cumulative revenue of “Crew” in India currently stands at Rs 37.06 crore. On its fifth day, the film achieved an 11.71% occupancy rate in Hindi, as reported by the same source.

Recently, Amul India unveiled a fresh advertisement featuring Kriti Sanon, Tabu, and Kareena Kapoor portraying red-haired flight attendants holding butter and bread. The caption on the poster humorously reads, “Please fasten your eat belts,” followed by “Crew ka Cut!” Kriti shared the post on her Instagram story with the remark, “Another (green tick emoji) on my wish list!”

Regarding the storyline, Kareena, Tabu, and Kriti portray flight attendants working for a financially struggling airline that has failed to pay their salaries for months. Their lives take an unexpected turn when they stumble upon a man concealing gold bars beneath his clothing. “Crew” is a collaborative production of Anil Kapoor’s Film & Communications Network and Balaji Telefilms, hitting theaters on March 29, 2024.
