Kunal Kemmu, renowned for his roles in Dhol, Kalyug, Lootcase, among others, embarks on his maiden directorial voyage with Madgaon Express. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment banner, the film marks a significant milestone in Kemmu’s cinematic journey. Reflecting on his directorial debut, Kunal divulged in an interview that helming this project was an unforeseen endeavor.

“While I harbored aspirations for such a venture, I abstained from concrete planning. Crafting the screenplay proved to be an enjoyable pursuit, and initially, I envisioned solely performing in the production. However, feedback from those who perused the script suggested a distinct perspective, compelling me to assume the mantle of director,” Kemmu disclosed.
