Sandeep Reddy Vanga advised Kiran Rao to go see Aamir Khan’s movie, ‘Dil’, in which he even threatens a female character with rape.

In the annals of cinematic discourse, ‘Animal,’ masterfully helmed by the directorial prowess of Sandeep Reddy Vanga, emerged as a veritable conversational maelstrom throughout the preceding year. Despite basking in the glow of a theatrical premiere, the cinematic opus featuring Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role found itself bereft of favorable critiques. Recently, within the confines of an exclusive tête-à-tête with Dainik Bhaskar, Sandeep Reddy Vanga embarked upon a verbal diatribe in response to a critique levied by none other than Kiran Rao, erstwhile consort of the thespian luminary Aamir Khan.

In the tapestry of verbal exchanges, Sandeep proffered counsel for Ms. Rao, urging her to partake in an expedition to witness Aamir’s cinematic oeuvre, specifically ‘Dil,’ where the protagonist nonchalantly dabbles with the reprehensible notion of violating a female character before the whims of romance eventually come to fruition.

Addressing the comments articulated by Kiran Rao, Sandeep Reddy Vanga expounded in the vernacular, “Aaj subah, mera AD ne mujhe ek lekh dikhaya. Ek superstar ki doosri ex-patni ka hai. Usne kaha hai ki Bahubaali 2 aur Kabir Singh jaise filmein mahila-virodhi bhavna aur stalkin ko badhava deti hain. Lagta hai use stalkin aur approachin ke beech ka farak pata nahi hai. Log in cheezon ko context ke bina padhte hain, toh unko sehmati dene lagte hain. Yeh poori tarah galat hai.”

“Mujhe kehna chahunga uss aurat ko ki jaake Aamir Khan se poocho ‘Khambe jaisi khadi hai, Ladki hai ya fuljari hai’ woh kya tha? Fir mere paas aayein. Yani ki, agar aapko yaad hai Dil, almost rape attempt tak leke jaake usko ehsaas jatata hai ki isne galat kiya. Aur usko pyar ho jata hai. Yeh sab kya hai? (I would like to say to that woman, ‘Go ask Aamir Khan, ‘Is she like a pillar, a girl, or a firecracker?’ What was that?” Then come back to me. If you remember Dil, he almost creates the situation towards an attempted rape, and it makes her realise that she was wrong. She ultimately falls in love. What is all this?) I don’t understand why they attack like that before checking the surroundings,” the director added.

Within the celluloid narrative, Ranbir Kapoor assumed the mantle of the malevolent character Ranvijay in the magnum opus ‘Animal.’ His character embarks on a vendetta, orchestrating a spree of vendettas against those who sought to terminate his estranged patriarch (Anil Kapoor), all in a quest for paternal benediction. Meanwhile, the nefarious mute mobster Abrar Haque was brought to life by the indomitable Bobby Deol.
