Renowned filmmaker Karan Johar, the creative force behind this project via his esteemed production house Dharma Productions, has now unveiled the title of the cinematic venture and unveiled a collection of promotional visuals through a video presentation. The forthcoming motion picture, christened “Bad Newz,” is slated for a theatrical premiere in July of the current year.

Taking to his Instagram platform, Karan Johar disseminated this announcement, penning in the caption, “Prepare yourselves for an unparalleled extravaganza – an uproarious once-in-a-lifetime scenario awaits… a comedic portrayal inspired by genuine occurrences!! #BadNewz IN CINEMAS 19th July 2024! (sic)”

In the preceding annum, an array of photographs featuring Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri surfaced amidst their filming expedition in Croatia. These images depicted Vicky Kaushal embracing Triptii intimately as they collaborated on a musical sequence. Notably, one snapshot captured the actor tenderly lifting the Animal performer in his embrace.

Having wrapped up principal photography the previous year, the film is currently in the final stages of preparation for its cinematic debut. Neha Dhupia took to Instagram to share a snapshot from the wrap-up festivities, featuring Vicky Kaushal, his sibling Sunny Kaushal, Neha accompanied by her spouse, actor Angad Bedi, Ammy Virk, Triptii Dimri, and others.

Helmed by Anand Tiwari, “Bad Newz” is touted as a romantic comedy, marking the maiden collaboration between Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri. This cinematic creation is being brought to life through the combined efforts of Dharma Productions and Leo Media Collective. In addition to Vicky and Triptii, Neha Dhupia, Sanya Malhotra, and Fatima Sana Shaikh assume pivotal roles in the narrative.
