Dubbed as the nation’s sweetheart, Rashmika Mandanna commemorates her 28th birthday on April 5, 2024. In honor of this auspicious day, the creators of her forthcoming movie Pushpa 2 have unveiled her initial appearance from the film. Pushpa 2, also known as Pushpa: The Rise, serves as the follow-up to the blockbuster hit Pushpa: The Rise starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika in lead roles.

Through their official channel, Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind the Pushpa series, released a promotional image of Rashmika from the movie. Introducing her as Srivalli, the creators conveyed: “Extending heartfelt birthday wishes to the heartthrob ‘Srivalli’ alias @iamRashmika #Pushpa2TheRuleTeaser arrives on April 8th 🔥 #PushpaMassJaathara 💥 #Pushpa2TheRule Grand Release Worldwide on August 15, 2024.”

Alongside extending felicitations to the actress on her special day, the creators also disclosed the teaser launch date. The teaser for Pushpa 2 is set to debut on Allu Arjun’s birthday on April 8, while the theatrical release is slated for August 15, 2024. Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the movie also stars Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles.

Not just a commercial triumph, the original film also secured Allu Arjun his maiden National Film Award for his performance in the inaugural installment. Allu clinched the Best Actor accolade at the 69th National Film Awards last year. The 2021 release not only captivated audiences with Allu Arjun’s portrayal but also with its blockbuster tracks including “Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava,” “Srivalli,” and “Saami Saami.”

The stellar ensemble cast of Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Dhanunjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj reunite for the sequel. The highly anticipated second chapter, slated for release this year, is helmed by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings.
