The creators of the upcoming horror comedy motion picture starring Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor in the leading roles unveiled the official title of the film on Thursday. The movie is titled Kapkapiii as disclosed by the creators. Directed by Sangeeth Sivan, renowned for his contributions to films such as Kya Kool Hain Hum and Apna Sapna Money Money, with the screenplay crafted by Saurabh Anand and Kumar Priyadarshi, this cinematic endeavor vows to offer a refreshing departure for audiences yearning for respite from intense thrillers and patriotic narratives.
Talpade conveyed that amidst the prevailing inclination towards somber and patriotic motifs in cinema, this authentic horror comedy will furnish a blend of mirthful and spine-tingling instances, catering to the varied inclinations of the audience. In a declaration, Talpade, who recently underwent a cardiac episode in December 2023, articulated his delight at reuniting with his Golmaal co-star Kapoor and director Sivan, drawing parallels to collaborating with close kin and contemplating the augmented artistic maturity that accompanies years of experience.
Kapoor, also renewing his collaboration with Sivan following their collaboration on the 2005 production Kya Kool Hai Hum, embraced the opportunity to embody a novel persona in Kapkapiii, commending the screenplay and the harmonious atmosphere within the team.
