A recent incident at Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai involved gunfire by two suspects. Following the event, the investigation has taken on a series of unexpected turns, with authorities now sharing novel insights into the ongoing case.
According to sources, the renowned actor is anticipated to record his witness statement regarding the situation. Law enforcement officials have discussed the potential motives of the attackers before their capture. Representatives of the Mumbai Crime Branch stated on Wednesday that the individuals involved sought only to intimidate the actor rather than harm him.
The accused reportedly conducted reconnaissance at Salman Khan’s Panvel farmhouse. Their objective was to instill fear, not to take his life. In addition, testimonies from the families of the shooters in Bihar have been chronicled. Seven individuals from Haryana and other regions have been summoned for further interrogation, as stated by a Crime Branch spokesperson.
Meanwhile, sources suggest that Salman Khan will provide his account as a witness in the case, which the Mumbai Crime Branch will document. It is reported that the actor expressed both anger and concern for his family’s security when Mumbai Police officers visited his residence following the event. He also questioned the adequacy of the police protection, noting that such a significant incident occurred despite the heavy security presence.
In related news, Anmol Bishnoi faced charges from the Mumbai Police for issuing threats on Facebook after the incident. The police have also released a Look Out Circular (LoC) for Anmol, who is the sibling of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
