His magnum opus, the Malayalam masterpiece titled Aadujeevitham, dubbed in various tongues as The Goat Life, is slated for release on March 28th. Headlining this cinematic saga is the illustrious Prithviraj Sukumaran.

In a recent development, the production team has disclosed the unveiling date of the music video for the soulful anthem, Periyone. Taking to the digital realm of Instagram, Mythri Movie Makers, the production powerhouse, disseminated the message: “Periyone, a harmonious entreaty for solace and redemption, will grace screens today across all linguistic renditions. #Periyone #TheGoatLife #Aadujeevitham.” The musical maestros AR Rahman and Resul Pookutty, adorned with the coveted Oscar statuette, have lent their brilliance to the film’s musical and sonic tapestry.

The auditory spectacle commenced with grandeur on March 10th at the prestigious Adlux Convention Centre in Angamaly. A R Rahman, the virtuoso behind the musical enchantment, regaled the audience with live renditions of the film’s musical scores. Reflecting on the melodic creations, Rahman shared insights into his creative process, recounting how director Blessy entrusted him with composing a poignant melody, soliciting lyrics to match his vision.

In a noteworthy revelation, Rahman disclosed his personal involvement in crafting the opening verses of the titular Periyone anthem, diverging from the norm. Echoing Rahman’s sentiments, lyricist Rafeeq elucidated on the collaborative intricacies, highlighting Blessy’s exacting standards and the challenges of encapsulating multifaceted emotions within Rahman’s musical canvas.

Undeterred by the constraints imposed by the pandemic, Rafeeq emphasized the arduous task of crafting lyrics that resonate with Rahman’s distinctive style, mirroring the protagonist Najeeb’s emotional journey from desolation to hope amidst the arid expanse of the desert.
