The collective endeavors of the Kalki 2898 AD crew are directed towards the promotion of their cinematic endeavor, slated for release in theaters on June 27th. Prabhas, accompanied by his comrade Bujji, has initiated the promotional activities with intriguing snippets, thereby amplifying anticipation surrounding the film. Meanwhile, Bujji has garnered substantial renown owing to its avant-garde design and formidable dimensions. Leveraging its notoriety and distinguishing traits, filmmaker Nag Ashwin has extended an invitation to Elon Musk, the CEO of Space X and Tesla, for a test drive of the formidable machine.
Addressing Musk directly, Ashwin penned, “Esteemed @elonmusk, we extend a cordial invitation for your perusal and experience of our #Bujji… a colossal 6-ton creation, entirely #fabricatedinindia. It is wholly electric and an exemplar of engineering prowess. Undoubtedly, it would offer a captivating visual alongside your cybertruck 😬 (an extraordinary spectacle witnessing them traverse together).”
Presently, Kalki 2898 AD is drawing considerable attention with the introduction of a novel entity: Bujji, an automaton. Unveiled amidst a grand ceremony in Hyderabad, Bujji captivated the audience as lead actor Prabhas made a gallant entry into the futuristic vehicle. Keerthy Suresh lends her voice to the intellect-controlled persona of Bujji, poised to inject ingenuity and excitement into the narrative, thereby providing a novel vantage point.
As enthusiasts rejoiced at Bujji’s advent, Anand Mahindra, the Chairman of the Mahindra Group, lauded the creators of Kalki 2898 AD for their imaginative integration. He revealed the pivotal role played by Mahindra’s engineers in materializing the film’s vision. Weighing in at 6 tons, Bujji boasts a power output of 94 kW, a torque of 9800 Newton meters, and a battery capacity of 47 kWh. Its dimensions measure an imposing 6075 mm in length, 3380 mm in width, and 2186 mm in height.
The vehicle is equipped with three tires: a singular spherical wheel at the rear and two upfront. Helmed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD is touted as a futuristic science fiction narrative with a mythical underpinning. The cast includes luminaries such as Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani.
