In connection with the homicide of Renukaswamy, a total of 18 individuals, among them the renowned actor Darshan, have been apprehended. The demise of a father, associated with one of the accused in this particular case, ensued on Friday due to cardiac arrest.

Following the disclosure of his son’s surrender to authorities concerning the aforementioned homicide, the father of the accused passed away. Anukumar, purportedly implicated in the Renukaswamy case, made the decision to turn himself in to law enforcement on Friday. It is conjectured that this pivotal event led to the heart attack resulting in the death of his father, Chandrappa, aged 60.

Anukumar, who plied his trade as an auto driver, served as the primary provider for his family. The detainment of Anukumar and the subsequent demise of Chandrappa have left Anukumar’s mother in a state of profound grief.

Preparations are underway by law enforcement to facilitate Anukumar’s attendance at his father’s interment. Following a presentation before the District Judge in Chitradurga, authorization will be sought and Anukumar will be permitted to partake in the funeral rites.
