As Shahid continues to promote his upcoming film ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Ulja Jiya’ he was asked about a crossover between the two characters in Vanga’s next film ‘Animal Park’.
Shahid Kapoor and Rabir Kapoor have achieved the pinnacle of their careers with the controversial filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s equally infamous creations: Kabir Singh and Animal respectively. While Shahid remains engrossed in promoting his upcoming cinematic endeavor ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Ulja Jiya’, inquiries arose regarding a potential convergence of the two personas in Vanga’s upcoming venture ‘Animal Park’.
In the narrative of Kabir Singh, Shahid embodied the eponymous character, a depiction that drew significant censure for its excessive violence and misogynistic undertones.
During an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shahid articulated his skepticism about the plausibility of a collaboration between Animal’s Ranvijay and Kabir Singh in an ‘Animal Park’, remarking, “Certain prospects captivate the audience’s imagination. Truly… the decision lies beyond my purview and the complexities are considerable as I perceive the realms to be distinctly divergent.”
While Shahid expressed reservations about its practicality, he conceded to the allure of such a prospect.
“If such an occurrence materializes, it would indeed be commendable, but is it within the realm of feasibility? Is it within reach? Who shall undertake the narrative endeavor? When shall it transpire? Numerous logistical intricacies abound,” he elaborated.
Delving into discussions regarding the subsequent installment of his comedic series Farzi on Prime Video, Shahid emphasized the intricacies of managing audience expectations amidst creators’ multifaceted engagements.
“The persistent queries regarding the forthcoming season of Farzi pose a challenge in elucidating the complexities the creators, Raj & DK, grapple with, balancing their commitments to other projects before resuming work on this. (The public’s reaction) ‘Have they not commenced the scripting? What impedes their progress? Their inaction is perplexing. They ought to expedite the process.’ I entertain such sentiments albeit with a sense of realism. If the audience resonates with this anticipation, it’s gratifying,” he concluded in the same discourse.
