The excitement surrounding the Independence Day weekend in the movie industry remains unparalleled, drawing massive crowds to theaters. This year, everyone had their gaze fixed on the showdown between Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again, the third chapter of the Singham saga, and Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule. However, there’s a twist: Singham Again won’t grace the screens on August 15 as anticipated.

The choice to delay Singham Again came primarily due to its star-studded ensemble, featuring Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Arjun Kapoor, requiring more time than initially foreseen.

Ajay Devgn took to social media to reveal the new release date for Singham Again. “#SinghamAgain roaring this Diwali 2024,” he declared alongside a poster showcasing the names of the lead actors.

During a recent media appearance, Ajay Devgn shed light on the postponement, stating, “We’re uncertain if the film will be ready by the 15th of August. So, we’re avoiding rushing it. Rushing often leads to subpar work, so we’ll take our time to ensure the film is completed satisfactorily.”

Now, the film is eyeing a Diwali debut. Just recently, Nikkhil Advani and John Abraham also opted to push back the release date of their film Vedaa from July 12 to August 15. Currently, John’s film is set for a showdown with Pushpa 2. However, speculation suggests that Vedaa might reap the benefits of a solo release.
