Riteish Deshmukh and his wife Genelia exercised their voting rights today at a polling station in Latur. The couple arrived early in the morning, with Genelia wearing a yellow saree, and spoke to the media about the importance of voting. Genelia stressed the significance of the day, urging everyone to cast their votes.
Riteish, accompanied by his brothers Amit Deshmukh and Dhiraj Deshmukh, emphasized the importance of voter engagement. Dhiraj, a Maharashtra Congress MLA, highlighted the essence of democracy and encouraged everyone to participate in the electoral process.
Their mother, Vaishali Deshmukh, also cast her vote in Latur. The NDA fielded Sudhakar Tukaram Shrangare against INDIA Alliance candidate Kalge Shivaji Bandappa for the seat in the third phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. This phase covers 93 constituencies across 11 states and Union Territories, with more than 1300 candidates, including around 120 female candidates, competing. Over 17.24 crore voters have the opportunity to vote at 1.85 lakh voting booths. Additionally, 75 participants from 23 nations are observing the polling procedure.
