Prabhas presently immerses himself in the production of his forthcoming cinematic masterpiece, Kalki 2898 AD. The luminary, who recently embarked on a sojourn to Italy accompanied by Disha Patani and other members of the crew for the film’s production, has now repatriated to the urban milieu. Directed by the illustrious Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD stands as a magnum opus within the realm of science fiction dramas, slated to grace the silver screens on the ninth of May.

In the nascent hours of the day, Prabhas returned from his Italian expedition, wherein he partook in the filming of a melodic interlude for the cinematic opus. Captured in visual documentation disseminated by a paparazzo conduit on the social media platform Instagram, the luminary was espied traversing the precincts of the Hyderabad aerodrome, donned in attire consisting of a sable-hued hoodie, a somber kurta, and verdant trousers, thereby epitomizing a semblance of simplicity interwoven with sartorial elegance.

Kalki 2898 AD manifests as Nag Ashwin’s tetralogy, boasting a constellation of luminaries including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Pasupathi, alongside the esteemed Prabhas and Disha Patani. Prabhas essays the character christened Bhairava, while the narrative arc of the film traverses epochs from the annals of the Mahabharata era to the epoch of 2898 AD, encapsulating a temporal expanse of six millennia. The architects behind the film enlisted the services of Kamal Haasan to essay the role of the malevolent antagonist.

The cinematic endeavor is bankrolled by C Aswani Dutt under the aegis of Vyjayanthi Movies, embellished with mellifluous compositions by Santhosh Narayanan. Djordje Stojiljkovic assumes the mantle of cinematographer, while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao undertakes the editorial responsibilities.

Following the denouement of Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas will be immersed in the production of a whimsical confectionery entitled The Raja Saab, under the directorial aegis of Dasari Maruthi. The aforementioned film is scheduled for a theatrical release during the festivities of Sankranthi 2025, featuring a stellar ensemble comprising Malavika Mohanan, Niddhi Agerwal, and Brahmanandam in pivotal roles. Furthermore, Prabhas is poised to embark on a collaborative effort with Sandeep Reddy Vanga for the cinematic venture Spirit, slated to commence principal photography in the waning months of 2024.
