Amidst the looming second phase of Lok Sabha election 2024, Union Home Minister Amit Shah asserted on Monday that the BJP administration, if granted authority, will eradicate Naxalism from Chhattisgarh within a span of two years.
Delivering a speech at a political gathering in Kanker, Chhattisgarh, Shah expressed, “The grip of Naxalism slipped through the fingers of the Congress governance. However, the burgeoning BJP regime has devised a fresh strategy to confront the Naxal insurgents. Within four months of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Home Minister Vijay Sharma assuming their roles, over 90 Naxal insurgents have been neutralized. Should Modi ji’s administration ascend to power for the third time, then within two years the scourge of Naxalism will be completely obliterated from Chhattisgarh. We extend this message to the Naxalites of Chhattisgarh that there exists a window to submit. Should surrender elude you, the landscape of Chhattisgarh will be emancipated from the crimson terror in the forthcoming two years.”
The Home Minister also aimed his rhetoric at the Congress concerning the Ram temple discourse. “The venerable Lord Ram commemorated his birth anniversary within the grand temple’s precincts after an interlude of 500 years, gracing the public with the Sun emblem. Upon Modi ji’s re-election, the Prime Minister triumphed in the legal contest, overseeing the temple’s construction and its sanctification. Congress spurned the invitation for the sanctification ceremony. They may proceed as they wish, unshackled by our apprehensions. We are embarking on the creation of the Kashinath Corridor, as well as the gold-clad temples of Kedarnath, Badrinath, and Somnath,” he articulated.
“Should Modi ji secure a third term as Prime Minister, the financial obligations of individuals aged above 70 years will be annulled. This is Modi’s pledge. I declare this from the heartland of Kanker. With the inception of the Modi administration on June 4, your progeny Modi will assume the burden of healthcare expenditures for all elderly citizens of the nation,” Shah pronounced.
The electoral sequel of Lok Sabha election 2024’s second phase is slated for April 26. Kanker, Mahasamund, and Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha constituencies are slated for the ballot in the ensuing phase.
