In a recent announcement, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) unveiled its chosen contenders for 13 parliamentary seats and 11 legislative assembly seats in Amaravati.
Among the notable selections for the Lok Sabha elections are Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu for the Srikakulam constituency, Mathkumilli Bharath for Visakhapatnam, and Ganti Harish Madhur for Amalapuram. The diverse array of nominees also includes Putta Mahesh Yadav, Kesineni Sivanath, Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu, T. Krishna Prasad, Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, Daggumalla Prasad Rao, Balusupati Nagaraju (Panchalingala Nagaraju), Byreddy Shabari, and B.K Parthasarathi for various constituencies across Andhra Pradesh.
Similarly, the TDP unveiled its chosen candidates for the legislative assembly seats in its third announcement. This follows the earlier release of names for a total of 128 candidates across two lists on February 24 and March 11.
Among the assembly nominees are Gauthu Sirisha for Palasa, Govinda Rao for Pathapatnam, Gondu Shankar for Srikakulam, and Kolla Latita Kumari for Kota, among others. TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu emphasized that each candidate underwent a meticulous selection process, ensuring alignment with the electorate’s preferences and needs.
Under the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance, the TDP is set to contest in 144 assembly and 17 parliamentary seats, with the remaining names yet to be disclosed for five assembly and four parliamentary seats.
