The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) front-runner is detained in Tihar prison’s numeral 2 in the excise policy-related money laundering lawsuit.
“Today, I interfaced with Kejriwal ji, who is confined in Tihar prison under spurious charges by the central government. However, his paramount concern remains the populace of Delhi, surpassing even his own welfare. He probed into the power and water concerns and disclosed that he monitored the aqueous dilemma in Delhi via television while detained in Tihar,” Atishi divulged to the press outside the Tihar prison.
She relayed that Kejriwal has mandated them to undertake all imperative actions and preparations feasible to surmount the water predicament posthaste. “He has instructed all the AAP legislators to immerse themselves in fieldwork and implement all conceivable measures to furnish water to the denizens in their respective regions,” she expounded. Atishi further articulated that Kejriwal inquired about the electricity interruptions in Delhi arising from a conflagration incident in Uttar Pradesh two days prior.
“He urged us to convene with the pertinent departmental functionaries to forestall the recurrence of electricity crises in the future,” she articulated. The educational official additionally remarked that Kejriwal is solely preoccupied with the welfare of Delhi denizens and their quandaries, even while detained, she appended.
