In the clutches of the Enforcement Directorate, the Delhi Chief Executive, Arvind Kejriwal, has emitted his inaugural decree, dictating Water Minister Atishi to unravel water and sewer-related quandaries in select sectors of the metropolis.

During a convened media congregation, Atishi recounted the tardily-received directives, which stirred a cascade of emotion, eliciting tears, as Kejriwal, despite his own tribulations, evinced solicitude for Delhi denizens.

Kejriwal, aged 55, fell into the Enforcement Directorate’s clutches on Thursday, plucked from his official domicile in connection to a money-laundering imbroglio entwined with an excise policy. A tribunal, on Friday, remanded the AAP’s national helmsman to the agency’s custody until March 28.

Further, the premier urged the dispatch of ample water caravans to regions parched by scarcity, fortifying supply in anticipation of the impending summertide, relayed Atishi.

The minister expounded that Kejriwal impelled instructions to the principal secretary and sundry functionaries in this vein. Additionally, he proffered the notion of soliciting the aid of Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, contingent on necessity, presuming upon his forthcoming assistance, she articulated.
