In the heart of New Delhi, the Health Minister, Saurabh Bharadwaj, revealed on Tuesday the news of a significant ocular procedure undergone by AAP’s Rajya Sabha representative, Raghav Chadha, in the United Kingdom. He announced Chadha’s imminent participation in the Lok Sabha electoral endeavors, contingent upon his convalescence.
Bharadwaj disclosed that Chadha had been grappling with a grave ocular affliction, perilously teetering on the brink of vision loss. Corroborating this, Punjab’s Chief Executive, Bhagwant Mann, assured Chadha’s involvement in the party’s electoral pursuits for the forthcoming general assembly polls.
Notably absent from the party’s electoral forays, Chadha, AAP’s parliamentary member from Punjab, had embarked on a hiatus necessitated by his ocular predicament. “Raghav Chadha has recently undergone a significant ocular intervention in the United Kingdom. Reports indicate the gravity of his condition, hinting at potential sight deprivation. Upon his convalescence, he will return to Indian soil and lend his fervor to our electoral campaign,” Bharadwaj articulated to PTI Videos.
Responding to queries regarding Chadha’s anticipated reintegration into the electoral sphere, Mann affirmed, “His participation is assured.” Drawing a simile, he remarked, “Much like a cricket team comprising eleven players, supplemented by auxiliary staff, net bowlers, and reserves, each person diligently executes their role. Our organizational machinery dictates that every assigned task shall be dutifully discharged. Mark the date, June 4, when AAP shall assert its ascendancy as a formidable political entity,” Mann emphasized following his rendezvous with New Delhi’s Chief Executive, Arvind Kejriwal, within the precincts of Tihar prison.
