Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Executive Officer Mohan Yadav inaugurated the maiden aerial journey between Bhopal and Jabalpur, setting off from Raja Bhoj Airport under the banner of ‘PM Shri Tourism Air Services’.

Departing from Bhopal at 9 in the morning, the flight touched down at Dumna Airport in Jabalpur by 10:30. An official relayed that subsequent flights are scheduled to depart Jabalpur at 11 in the morning, making its way to Rewa by 12:30 in the afternoon, with another leg extending to Singrauli, reaching by 1:15. However, these timings will undergo adjustments starting June 14.

This initiative aims to link eight urban centers across the state, encompassing Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Rewa, Singrauli, Gwalior, and Khajuraho.

Operated under a Public Private Partnership (PPP) model by Jetserve Aviation Private Limited, the inaugural ticket is priced at approximately Rs 2,000.

The daily itinerary unfolds as follows:

  • Departure from Bhopal at 7:45 in the morning, touching down in Jabalpur by 9:15
  • Departure from Jabalpur at 9:45, landing in Rewa by 11:15
  • Departure from Rewa at 11:30, arriving in Singrauli by noon
  • Departure from Singrauli at 12:15, reaching Rewa by 12:45
  • Departure from Rewa at 1:15, arriving in Jabalpur by 2:35
  • Departure from Jabalpur at 2:45, concluding the journey in Bhopal by 4:15

For flight bookings, navigate to www.flyola.in, click on the flight booking option, select your preferred date and departure city, indicate the number of passengers, and proceed to ‘Find Flights’. A list of connecting flights will then be presented for selection. After choosing a flight, input your details and complete the online payment process.

An application will be furnished to assist travelers, furnishing comprehensive details regarding routes, fares, and schedules, alongside facilitating bookings. Additionally, a fifty percent concession will be extended to passengers for a month.

CM Mohan Yadav expressed optimism regarding the scheme’s impact on tourism, stating, “PM Shri Tourism Air Service will undoubtedly invigorate tourism in Madhya Pradesh. Beyond tourism, this service is poised to elevate sectors such as commerce, academia, and healthcare within the state. Today, on the launch of ‘PM Shri Tourism Air Service’, inaugurated the ticket counter at Bhopal Airport and distributed boarding passes to passengers.”
