Tragedy struck in Begusarai, Bihar, as three individuals met a fiery demise while another suffered injuries in a harrowing collision between two motorbikes, resulting in a blaze of catastrophic proportions. The calamitous event unfolded near Kund Dhala Gautam Dham within the jurisdiction of Muffasil police station. Sources indicate that the collision sparked a conflagration, drawing a multitude of onlookers to the scene. Despite the concerted efforts of bystanders, the inferno raged uncontrollably, thwarting any attempts at extinguishment or rescue.
Regrettably, two souls perished instantaneously from their injuries, while two others, grievously burnt, were extricated from the wreckage. Rushed to the hospital, the injured received urgent medical attention, yet one individual succumbed to their wounds during treatment, leaving one survivor presently under the care of Sadar Hospital.
The deceased have been identified as Chhattis Kumar, a denizen of Pipra, Arvind Sharma hailing from Bagwada, and Sumit Kumar of Manjhaul. Notably, Chhattis Kumar was the brother-in-law of Arvind Sharma. Currently, Shyam Kumar remains under medical supervision as he continues his battle for recovery.
Following the tragic incident, authorities, including the Sadar DSP and officials from the Mufassil police station, swiftly responded to the scene. “We have received reports of a head-on collision involving two motorcycles within the Muffasil police station’s jurisdiction. Tragically, two individuals perished at the scene, while one succumbed to injuries at Sadar Hospital. One survivor is currently receiving medical treatment. Our investigation into the matter is ongoing,” stated Subodh Kumar, DSP Sadar.
