In an astonishing disclosure concerning the enigmatic demises of a mature lady and a pair of juveniles in Churu, Rajasthan, earlier this calendar year, law enforcement unveiled that the perpetrator, suspecting marital infidelity, executed his grandmother and the two offspring through the administration of toxic substances. The spouse of the culprit and his paternal grandfather were also under his scrutiny, as unveiled by Superintendent Jai Yadav of Churu Police during a press briefing on Tuesday.

The case revolves around the perplexing passings of 82-year-old Kisturi Devi on January 31st and the youngsters—four-year-old Garvit and eight-year-old Anurag—on February 13th and 28th, sequentially. As per the Superintendent, subsequent investigations following the trio of deaths within a span of a month exposed Bhup Singh as the mastermind behind the triple homicide, previously perceived with sympathy by the local populace as a victim.

Superintendent Jai Yadav further elaborated that the suspect harbored suspicions of spousal infidelity and doubted his paternity of the two children. Yadav revealed that Singh concocted a scheme and initially dispatched his 82-year-old grandmother Kisturi Devi by means of poisonous substances. Subsequently, Singh perpetuated the demise of his eight-year-old son Anurag and four-year-old Garvit through the same toxic method, according to law enforcement authorities.

To obfuscate the incident and solicit empathy from the community, the suspect himself instigated arson using sodium on his residence, as per police statements. Singh endeavored to evoke sympathy by purporting an interest in Tantra Vidya to the villagers. However, subsequent to interrogation, the suspect admitted to the triple homicide, leading to his arrest and the filing of charges against him by the police.

An official noted the pivotal role played by trainee IPS Prashant Kiran in unraveling the conspiracy surrounding the triple murder case.

Law enforcement officials disclosed that the spouse and paternal grandfather of the suspect were also targeted, with the accused offering them poisoned milk, which they abstained from consuming due to its acrid taste.
