Upon the Mussoorie-Dehradun thoroughfare close to Jharipani Road, a grievous incident unfolded, claiming the lives of five souls, comprising four young gentlemen and a maiden, subsequent to a vehicle they occupied careening into a profound ravine on the forenoon of Saturday. One more young lady, sustaining critical injuries from this calamity, is presently undergoing medical care at Dehradun’s Elevated Institution.
As per authorized channels, four youthful gentlemen and two maidens, all attendees of Dehradun’s IMS Institution, met their demise during their homeward journey from Mussoorie.
It was elucidated by authoritative channels, “During their return journey to Dehradun from Mussoorie, the automobile relinquished control in close proximity to Chunakhan, hurtling into a steep chasm. Upon notification of the mishap, authorities expedited rescue efforts with alacrity. Detachments from Mussoorie Constabulary, Fire Brigade, and SDRF hastened to the locale to initiate salvage endeavors. Despite the daunting landscape and the profundity of the ravine, responders toiled indefatigably to extricate the victims from the wreckage.”
A pair of maidens, who retained vital signs, were initially extracted from the ravine and hurried to Dehradun Elevated Institution for medical intervention. Regrettably, one of them succumbed, while the other is presently under medical supervision. Meanwhile, the quartet of youthful gentlemen had succumbed to their injuries on-site. The mishap precipitated an immediate reaction from neighboring denizens, who hastened to proffer aid.
The decedents have been delineated as Ashutosh Tiwari, domiciled in Moradabad, Tanuja Rawat (22) hailing from Roorkee, Aman Singh Rana (22) domiciled in Sahaspur, proximate to Shankarpur Dims Institution Gate, Digansh Pratap Bhati (23) from Haridwar, and Hridayansh Chandra (24) from Sonbhadra. The injured young lady has been identified as Nayanshree (24) from Meerut.
