In the aftermath of a double homicide within a salon in Najafgarh, New Delhi, the authorities have successfully identified the culprits. According to official sources, Sanjeev Dahiya, also known as Sanju, and Harsh, alias Chintu, are believed to be the assailants embroiled in a conflict with the victims stemming from a contentious social media post. The tragic incident unfolded at Najafgarh’s Indira Park on Friday, where Ashish and Sonu lost their lives while seeking a routine haircut.
Social media circulated purported CCTV footage capturing one of the victims desperately pleading with the attackers before succumbing to point-blank gunfire. The harrowing scene also depicted two female salon staff members fleeing in terror. Preliminary police assessments suggest a probable case of personal animosity sparked by an inflammatory social media message. However, the precise motive behind this violent encounter will only be determined post the apprehension of the accused, as stated by a police official.
Uncovering more details, sources revealed that Dahiya practices law within a Delhi courtroom, although this fact is pending verification. Harsh, also known as Chintu, sibling to the incarcerated criminal Yogesh Tunda, was recently granted bail after serving time in prison, according to insider information. A dedicated effort involving multiple teams from the local police and crime branch has been initiated to capture the suspects. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Ankit Singh emphasized the ongoing efforts of these teams in bringing the accused to justice, expressing confidence that clarity on the matter would emerge following their apprehension.
