Amidst the investigation into the interception of dubious shipments from China, potentially linked to Pakistan’s nuclear armament efforts, an official report was tendered on Monday by a Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) team, as per reliable government sources.
Per the insights provided by DRDO experts, the confiscated Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, characterized by their substantial size, exhibit dual-purpose capabilities, aligning them with potential military applications.
It is noteworthy that security agencies stationed at Mumbai’s Nhava Sheva port successfully intercepted a vessel bound for Karachi from China, under suspicion of transporting a consignment earmarked for employment in Pakistan’s nuclear and ballistic missile endeavors, divulged a well-placed source.
Having subjected the shipment to scrutiny, the DRDO team scrutinized the contents, which primarily raises suspicions of intended use in Pakistan’s nuclear initiatives, specifically in the production of crucial components essential for the advancement of missile technology.
