Jaipur: The esteemed dignitary, President Droupadi Murmu, graced the terrain of Rajasthan on Tuesday for her scheduled two-day sojourn. On the morrow, which happens to be the 14th of February, she is slated to pay her respects at the hallowed Mehndipur Balaji temple. Additionally, her itinerary encompasses a visit to Beneshwar Dham in Dungarpur, followed by active participation in a women’s symposium later in the day. Reliable sources affirm the President’s mode of transportation to the Mehandipur helipad involves a specialized military helicopter.
Anticipating the President’s arrival, the precincts of Balaji town have undergone transformation into a fortified police cantonment. Vigilant security personnel occupy every conceivable nook and cranny, ensuring a comprehensive security blanket during the President’s visitation. The proposed trajectory involves the President, post her devotions at Mehndipur Balaji, returning to Jaipur airport via helicopter. Subsequently, she will embark on her journey to Udaipur aboard a specially designated aircraft, eventually making her way to the renowned Beneshwar Dham in Dungarpur.
In alignment with the agenda for the President of India’s sojourn, Droupadi Murmu is slated to address a women’s convocation orchestrated by Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Vikas Parishad (Rajivika) under the ‘Lakhpati Didi Yojana’ at Beneshwar Dham in Dungarpur. A projected attendance of 10,000 women is envisaged for this momentous gathering. Sources intimate that an infusion of Rs 250 crore is earmarked for distribution among female laborers, accompanied by a disbursement of a Rs 50 crore cheque to beneficiaries under Mahila Nidhi.
In anticipation of the Presidential rendezvous, the Banswara Administration has designated the assembly venue as a no-fly zone. Joining the President on this notable occasion are various administrative dignitaries, including Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Assam Governor Gulabchand Kataria, and the esteemed TAD Minister. A precursor to this event occurred on Tuesday, with President Droupadi Murmu touching down at Jaipur airport, where she was graciously received by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. The President’s trajectory led her straight to Raj Bhavan, where Governor Kalraj Mishra extended a warm welcome. Expressing concern for Governor Mishra’s health, the President conveyed earnest wishes for a swift recovery. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma took the initiative to extend a hearty welcome to the President, commemorating her arrival in Rajasthan as the sacred land of valor and sacrifice.
