In the city of Indore, situated in the heart of Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the cornerstone for an array of developmental endeavors, collectively valued at a staggering Rs 7,500 crore, on a momentous Sunday in Jhabua. Accompanied by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and his esteemed cabinet ministers, the event unfolded to bestow its benefits upon the substantial tribal populace dwelling in the region, as articulated by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in an official communiqué.
The Prime Minister is poised to consecrate and initiate the inception of multiple ventures designed to uplift the notable tribal demographic of the locale. Delving into the intricacies, he will disburs monthly installments of Aahar Anudan under the Aahar Anudan Yojna, extending financial assistance to approximately two lakh women beneficiaries. The scheme, allocating Rs 1,500 monthly for nourishing sustenance, is specifically tailored for women hailing from various particularly marginalized tribes of Madhya Pradesh, elucidated the PMO in its statement.
Additionally, Prime Minister Modi is slated to distribute 1.75 lakh Adhikar Abhilekh (record of rights) to recipients of the SVAMITVA Scheme, furnishing concrete documentation affirming individuals’ rights to their land, as earlier expounded by the PMO. Furthermore, he will orchestrate the transfer of Rs 55.90 crores to 559 villages under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana and will ceremoniously lay the foundation stone of the ‘CM Rise School’ in Jhabua.
Detailing the educational aspect, the school is envisioned to amalgamate technology, ushering in modern amenities such as smart classes and an e-Library to augment the educational experience of students, as detailed by the PMO. Simultaneously, Prime Minister Modi is set to lay the foundation stone for a multitude of initiatives aimed at fortifying the water supply infrastructure and facilitating the provisioning of potable water in Madhya Pradesh.
Per the PMO, the initiatives encompass the ‘Talavada Project,’ an extensive drinking water supply scheme catering to over a thousand villages in Dhar and Ratlam, and 14 urban water supply schemes under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0. This initiative is poised to benefit more than 50 thousand urban households spread across various districts of Madhya Pradesh.
