Scheduled for June 21, Prime Minister Modi’s maiden Kashmir expedition aligns with the observance of International Yoga Day in Srinagar, as disclosed. His administration’s concerted endeavors seek to spotlight the valley as a premier tourism hub, while fostering deeper ties with the local populace.

Official channels reveal that the event will unfold at the scenic backdrop of SKICC, offering panoramic vistas of the Dal Lake and Zabarwan Hills.

The administration, spearheaded by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, is on high alert, with the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council tasked to orchestrate the logistical arrangements for the PM’s Yoga Day participation.

“Preparations are underway. We’ve rallied yoga teams and instructors for this grand occasion. Our efforts are unwavering,” confides an unnamed official from the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.

Reports indicate that the Sports Council has mobilized its athletic divisions to enlist 3000 participants for the mega-event.

Security contingents are diligently surveying SKICC, fortifying the venue against potential threats.

Last year, International Yoga Day unfolded at Srinagar’s Botanical Garden, drawing the participation of LG Manoj Sinha and other dignitaries from the Union Territory.
