In a momentous ceremony set to unfold on Thursday, Haryana’s Chief Executive, Manohar Lal Khattar, will commence the inauguration of a myriad of projects, tallying a substantial value of Rs 4200 crore. This includes developmental endeavors amounting to Rs 3600 crore and the introduction of the Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana (HAPPY), a notable initiative valued at Rs 600 crore.
The dignitary is slated to unveil 392 projects, collectively valued at Rs 938 crore, spanning 22 districts. Additionally, he will lay the foundational stones for 679 projects, aggregating a sum of Rs 2684 crore, encompassing all districts within the state. Noteworthy among the initiatives is the Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana (HAPPY). Furthermore, he will initiate the PWD’s project on the Delhi-Agra and Delhi-Vadodara Expressway Ballabhgarh Mohana Road in Faridabad, a venture valued at Rs 214 crore.
Within this timeframe, the inauguration of the flyover, costing Rs 127 crore, stretching from Khalsa Chowk to Haryana Nursing Home in Karnal is anticipated. Simultaneously, the launch of the irrigation scheme in Mahendragarh, amounting to Rs 114 crore, and the inauguration of a parallel scheme in Charkhi Dadri, valued at Rs 112 crore, will underscore the Chief Minister’s commitment to infrastructural development.
Additionally, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will lay the foundational stone for Fatehabad Jail, with an estimated cost of Rs 100 crore, and the Transport Bhawan in Panchkula, projected at Rs 87 crore. Furthermore, he will inaugurate the irrigation scheme initiated in Charkhi Dadri, marking another stride in bolstering the region’s agricultural infrastructure.
Preceding these monumental events, on March 6, during the ‘Lakhpati Didi Sammelan’ in Karnal, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar heralded a transformative plan designed to empower women through technological and economic avenues. The Chief Executive articulated a target to elevate 258,000 sisters into ‘Lakhpati Didis,’ with an ambitious subset of 50,000 achieving a monthly income of one lakh rupees.
A dedicated fund of Rs 200 crore has been earmarked for this purpose. Additionally, the government envisions the establishment of a thousand interest-free stores, with women being accorded priority, fostering economic empowerment within their families. Haryana presently boasts almost 55,000 self-groups and over 6 lakh daughters affiliated with them. The aspiration is to witness our sisters and daughters scale unprecedented heights, as Khattar passionately expressed during the ‘Lakhpati Didi Sammelan’ in Karnal.
