Srinagar: The Counter Intelligence (CI) wing of Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday introduced a money reward of Rs 3 lakh for info on needed terrorist commander and handler of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). The commander is accused of radicalizing and recruiting youth in Jammu and Kashmir for terrorism-related actions.

In response to the official assertion issued by Jammu and Kashmir Police, the accused is a Pakistan-based terrorist commander referred to as Summa, Ilyas and Babar and is related to the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba group.

Case registered below UAPA
The assertion stated that the suspect is being searched in reference to a case registered below FIR quantity 02/2024 at Police Station CI Kashmir. He’s charged below a number of sections of the Illegal Actions (Prevention) Act and the Indian Penal Code (UAPA).
