Ranchi: The esteemed Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, is slated to deliver a discourse at an electoral congregation in Jharkhand, followed by orchestrating a procession in Ranchi on the morrow, as articulated by an authoritative source within the political faction. His visit shall commence in the precincts of West Singhbhum district, where he shall espouse the cause of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) aspirants vying for victory in the Singhbhum and Khunti Lok Sabha constituencies, both exclusively reserved for individuals of Scheduled Tribes (ST).

The political party has endorsed Geeta Kora, a recent defector from the Congress party, as its nominee for the Singhbhum constituency, and the incumbent Union Minister Arjun Munda for the Khunti seat.

Subsequent to the mass gathering, Prime Minister Modi shall alight at the Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi during the twilight hours and proceed with a grand procession towards Raj Bhawan, amidst stringent security measures. En route, fervent supporters of the BJP, dignitaries, and denizens shall extend felicitations at various junctures, encompassing Hinoo Chowk, Birsa Chowk, DPS Chowk, Argora Chowk, BJP headquarters, Harmu Chowk, Sahajanand Chowk, and Kartik Oraon Chowk.

Stringent security protocols have been enforced for the Prime Minister’s visit, with the deployment of both state and central security forces along the itinerary, as corroborated by Ranchi’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Chandan Kumar Sinha.

Prime Minister Modi shall sojourn at Raj Bhavan overnight on Friday and is scheduled to deliver two additional electoral addresses on Saturday in support of the party’s nominees contesting in the Palamu and Lohardaga parliamentary constituencies.

For the Palamu seat, the BJP has put forth Vishnu Dayal Ram as its candidate, and Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Samir Oraon for the Lohardaga seat, supplanting the incumbent MP Sudarshan Bhagat. The polling for the Singhbhum, Khunti, Lohardaga, and Palamu constituencies is slated for May 13.
