Bollywood luminary Jubin Nautiyal mesmerized the audience in Srinagar, a locale within BJP leader Anil Baluni’s jurisdiction, with a compelling musical performance on Thursday. As the Lok Sabha election looms, candidates are tirelessly rallying support. Nautiyal, who resonated deeply with the younger crowd during the event, urged them to participate in the electoral process robustly.

“Your singular vote carries significant weight in sustaining the democratic ethos. It is also an avenue to propel the nation towards advancement,” Nautiyal expressed amidst enthusiastic applause from the crowd.

When inquired about any political ambitions due to his family’s political background, Nautiyal affirmed his detachment from politics. “Despite my father’s substantial political engagements, I have no inclination towards politics. I cherish the admiration I receive from my fans. Politics does not suit me. Currently, I’m content with performing Ram Bhajans and folk tunes across the country and overseas,” the singer remarked.

Concurrently, the vocalist expressed admiration for Kangana Ranaut, who is running for the Mandi seat in Himachal Pradesh, acknowledging her forthright disposition. “I offer my best wishes for her success in politics,” he commented.

On another note, Nautiyal revealed that three to four Pahari Sangeet ventures are underway for the people of Uttarakhand. He emphasized the significant potential of youth in driving the state’s progress.

Enthusiasm surrounding Nautiyal’s visit to Pauri Garhwal was palpable, situated in Anil Baluni’s electoral district, where the contest has become a closely watched battle. Baluni’s primary opponent is Ganesh Godiyal, former state Congress president, who, like Baluni, is of Brahmin heritage. The region’s demographic is predominantly Thakur, constituting around 45% of the voters.
