The helicopter ferrying pilgrims to the sanctified Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand narrowly averted disaster when its rudder sustained significant impairment.

The aircraft, operated by Kestral Aviation, en route from Shersi Helipad to Kedarnath Dham, encountered technical glitches mere meters away from its intended destination. With half a dozen passengers onboard, alongside a pilot, the aerial vehicle faced a precarious scenario necessitating prompt action.
By executing an impeccable emergency touchdown a mere 100 meters from the Kedarnath Dham helipad, pilot Kalpesh’s resolute actions preserved lives and thwarted what could have transpired as a sorrowful occurrence amidst the bustling Chardham Yatra 2024 pilgrimage season.
