Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad Yadav has once again directed his criticism towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi via social media platforms.

The erstwhile Chief Minister of Bihar has once more posed inquiries to PM Narendra Modi on social media platform X. The Prime Minister is actively engaging in campaign activities in Bihar for the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

“Journalists are conducting interviews with (PM) Narendra Modi but none are fulfilling their journalistic obligations. None have dared to question the Prime Minister, saying – ‘You had pledged to create two crore employment opportunities annually, what became of that commitment?’ On what grounds and through what analysis did you formulate that commitment?” the former Union Railways Minister remarked.

Lalu also questioned why, if the PM had asserted that there were lakhs of crores of black money stashed in foreign accounts and that Rs 15 lakh would be credited to each individual’s account, the money had not materialized. Did any journalist raise this query?

“You spoke about purifying the Ganga? What was the outcome of that? Instead, the Ganga River has become more contaminated than ever before. Not a single journalist has inquired about this,” the RJD leader declared.

Lalu also posed a series of inquiries regarding the nation’s previous and current debt levels.

“Why has the debt escalated fourfold in the span of 10 years? Why were 25 lakh crores forgiven for capitalists? No one is discussing demonetization. Why did inflation and unemployment skyrocket during your tenure? Bihar has contributed numerous MPs to your cause, but what has Bihar received in return?” the RJD chief interrogated the PM.

He criticized journalists for posing insipid questions. “This isn’t an interview, it’s a scripted performance. Prior to posing a question, journalists spend 20 minutes buttering up, then pose a question drenched in saccharine syrup, followed by another 20 minutes of buttering up. It shouldn’t be so contrived,” the RJD leader asserted.

This isn’t the first instance; Lalu has consistently criticized the Prime Minister before each of his visits to Bihar, using social media as his platform.
