In Bokaro, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh articulated on Tuesday that ex-Pakistani minister Fawad Hussain, who acknowledged the involvement of terrorists from his nation in the Pulwama and Uri assaults, was commending Rahul Gandhi. Singh queried whether a leader, lauded by an “adversary,” ought to be “permitted” to govern.
During an electoral gathering in Jharkhand’s Bokaro, Singh asserted that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir unequivocally belongs to India. “Former Pakistani minister Fawad Hussain has admitted that Pakistani terrorists orchestrated the Pulwama and Uri attacks. This same Fawad Hussain refrains from extolling PM Modi but extols Rahul Gandhi with remarks such as ‘Rahul on Fire.’ I pose to you: should a leader, extolled by adversaries, be venerated? Should such an individual be allowed to helm the government? What trajectory do they envision for the nation? I implore you to safeguard the country,” Singh declared.
Fawad Hussain Chaudhry, a former minister under Imran Khan’s administration in Pakistan, had disseminated a video of Rahul Gandhi on X, captioned, “Rahul on fire…” Singh further contended that while the opposition accuses the BJP of intending to amend the Constitution, it was during the Congress’s tenure that democratically elected governments were ousted on 90 occasions.
“Corruption soared in Jharkhand under the JMM-led administration, and such malfeasance was inconceivable without the chief minister’s endorsement,” Singh remarked, targeting former chief minister Hemant Soren. He appealed to the populace to usher the ruling coalition out of power in the state.
