Nagpur: Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, exercised his suffrage in Nagpur for the Lok Sabha elections on Friday. He arrived at the Dharampeth Hindi High School polling station with his spouse, Amruta, and his mother, Sarita Fadnavis, shortly after 10 a.m.

The electorate is currently active in the Nagpur constituency, where Union minister and BJP stalwart Nitin Gadkari contends against Congress’ Vikas Thakre in the initial phase.

Post-voting, Fadnavis spoke to the press, proclaiming the commencement of the democratic process nationwide and urging citizens to partake in their electoral duties.

“My mother, wife, and I have completed our civic obligation,” he stated. Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit also voted at the same polling location, encouraging the populace to employ their constitutional rights to vote.
